STEVE JOBS! MY TAKE

Countless number of people are expressing their opinions about the man Steve Jobs. This is my

take.


I have not followed the man that much but from the little I know of the man, I will remember him

for his ability to venture into the unknown. A man starts a company from his garage and it turns

into a multi-billion company in ten years. Instead of waiting for someone to employ him with his

knowledge and skills, he sets out to employ himself with the little money he had.


It is this example of courage and resourcefulness that I admire in this noble man. we should

approach life not depending so much on what people can give us but what we do for ourselves. To

honor his memory I suggest we live his example and make it in whatever venture we would love to

set up or accomplish.

IT IS PART OF LIFE

In the journey called life, we encounter people day in day out.
Some do come into our lives just for some seconds, others hours,
and for others,days.

Everyone comes to play a part in making life worth living and
meaningful. Although each person's role is important, some are
not very visible for you even to recognize it.

When people who have had significant influence on your life move
faraway, it is an experience. You are forever grateful for the
fact that they shared their lives with you.

You hope for great partners like them in your life with the memories
forever being with you. But hey, we are in the age of technology
where partners will always be no matter the distance.

Keep great friendships alive and do not quench the fire of such great
friendships.

Enjoy the great friendships of the journey called life.

DREAMS

We dream to give a sense of direction and meaning to our lives
Life with a dream gives direction and focus
Dreams gives life a sense of achievement and accomplishment
The indication that something is worthwhile or worth the effort
We set goals for ourselves and with much drive and enthusiasm, we aspire to them
It becomes our sense of hope and joy

What happens if your dreams are shattered?
These are moments of great confusion, anxiety and disappointment
At a moment all we can inquire is What went wrong? Why me and at this particular point in time?
No answers come in handy but deep down in the depths of our hearts,
we still dream that all will be well

Most of these moments come when there are is the need for you to realize greater dreams
These dreams might not have ever crossed your mind
but they might be the perfect ones for you
Sometimes what we dream for our lives might not be the one that nature in its own wisdom has designed for us
But there is the need always to dream

In all circumstances that the journey called life presents,
give up not on your will to dream because great accomplishments were people's dreams
Give up not on hope and dreams.
Whatever state you find yourself in remember
ALL WILL BE WELL and IF YOU DREAM, DREAM BIG

Married to the Game

We all have our favorite games that we play. These games have their unique ways of capturing our attention to the extent that sometimes it becomes the primus of our existence. For the purpose of this, games have an extension of all the activities that we have a commitment to which gives us that joy and satisfaction not necessarily the money involve.

In a game, wining is paramount and we try very much to ensure wins. This involves training and a level of commitment. To be successful in your game demands going the extra mile above the usual and standing out. With the wins and losses, you need to get married to your game for better for worst.By married to the game I mean being steadfast to that which is the source of your satisfaction, peace and joy.

If you settle on your game, all you have to do is win. It should never be over until you win despite the challenges because that makes your game worth the field.

Get married to your game and make sure you win. That is the secret to a good life and healthy life. This journey? it is called life.

WISHES

I wish I had ................

It comes to a point in an individuals life when one wonders whether an earlier decision was really worth it considering current dispensations. Coming to a realization that circumstances might have been different if a commitment had not been made previously can sometimes influence you to wish otherwise.

Our ability as humans to make the right decisions sometimes against the odds and our ability to be steadfast to what we believe in to a lager extent has a key to our happiness and joy. The dream of tomorrow can be realize with today's decisions and making those decisions are not that easy.

We wish at a moment that we would not have done some stuffs. Yes! We do but hey! That is human. We sometimes make mistakes but our failure is not in the fact that we did make those mistakes but rather brooding over the guilt. When we do make mistakes we need to learn from them not to repeat them in the near future.

For the decisions that we can change, we need to make sure we change them to meet our current need. For those that are irrevocable, leave that to the journey called life because it has it own way of dealing with it.

Live the moment and try not always to undo that which cannot be undone. Live your life not forgetting the fact that you are one of those who sometime make mistakes.

We wish we did not do it but hey! we did it. Let us modify our current state to meet our current need. Enjoy the journey called life because it is sweet and worth our joy.

WHAT A WORLD

I am very much surprise to hear that some faithfuls in my beloved country Ghana, attended services last night to welcome Christ. Oh My God! A friend just called me telling me to be in the house and pray as I await the end of the world in the night.

What is happening to our ability to reason. As I said yesterday, this world is not coming to an end. We will live today and tomorrow as well. To those who have a problem with Life, Make it meaningful because it is a wonderful thing you cannot compromise with.

I got to leave and attend to some urgent stuffs which is going to help my future. Enjoy Because the World as We have it right now is not coming to an end.

DECEPTION

I would normally not make comments of religious postulations because of the differences in religious beliefs. When it is worth it, I think it is worth considering.

A "Man of God" in my beloved country has postulated that the world as I am in right now typing this and enjoying sweet tunes from my laptop is coming to an end tomorrow. What on earth is that?

It has become a practice of most so called men of God to deceive unsuspecting faithfuls into believing in stuffs which sometimes beat imagination. Faith is a very strong phenomenon and when people have convictions, it is very difficult to dissuade them from it.

My question is how do people practice faith without reason? The two need to go hand in hand because without it, we are no religious people. The world as I am enjoying it right from the perspective of reason is not ending today or tomorrow. We will live yet another day and enjoy all the good things that his journey called life brings.
